Nicole M. Luongo As an autistic woman raising an autistic child, I wrote from my own point of view of what my experience was at the time. I don’t feel the need immerse myself in autistic culture or seek out other people’s perspectives. I’m writing about *my* perspective. The language that you or any one else rejects isn’t something that I feel strongly about. To me there is no difference between someone calling me a woman with autism or an autistic woman. I wasn’t trying to educate anyone with my story, I was sharing my experience. Thanks for the read.
